Treatment facilities have included ground water and surface water treatment facilities with flocculation, sedimentation, ion exchange, filtration, chemical feed, and disinfection processes. Distribution systems have included ductile iron, steel, PVC, and prestressed concrete piping ranging in size from 6” to 96”, water booster stations, and various types of elevated storage tanks.

Wastewater Experience

Our wastewater experience has included process treatment facilities, wet weather treatment facilities, basin studies, pumping stations, storm water and sanitary sewers, sanitary and combined sewer overflow structures, and other open conveyance systems. The treatment plant projects have included new grit removal, pumping, disinfection, primary treatment, secondary treatment, and solids handling facilities.

The wastewater collection system projects have included new and rehabilitated sewers ranging in size from 8” to 144”, pumping stations rated for maximum flows of 400 MGD, and detention basins with capacities up to 5 million gallons. On several buried infrastructure projects, we have replaced traditional open trench pipeline construction with micro-tunneling and other trenchless methods, which have proven to be environmentally and economically advantageous.
