Deer Park/Matson Avenue Sanitary Sewer Overflow Elimination/Relief Sewer

Ribway was selected as the prime consultant to provide professional engineering services and planning services for this project, which involved the construction of 4,500 lf of 30 and 36 inch sanitary sewer that replaced existing 18-inch sewers to eliminate sanitary sewer overflows. Additional improvements included approximately 1,500 lf of partial depth roadway reconstruction and miscellaneous overflow chambers. Design of the project involved researching existing utilities, evaluating alternative alignments, determining design flows, sizing the sewer, preparing a design report, preparing construction documents, performing safety construction analyses, and coordinating with several municipalities, agencies and townships including the City of Deer Park, Hamilton County and Ohio EPA.
